Review content:
This is my first review on this site. I have read other reviews about this restaurant and I agree with some. First, I liked the decor, but I honestly hated the crowd. Being an LA native, I should be used to this scene, but its not the restaurants fault. Its just the area. People there are just trying to get discovered, not really a deal breaker. Second, we had an 8:15 reservation and weren't sat until 9:20 or so! Ouch!! That was not cool. Watching B list reality TV actors get sat before us was a bit annoying. Again, frustrating but oh well. Next, the food. We had a wonderful server that had great recommendations. We started with the Diver scallops and they were wonderful. Then we had the filet, mac and cheese and creamy spinach!! All were delicious! Portions were generous as well. Overall, it was enjoyable. I would go back but maybe earlier in the week and not on a busy Thursday night.
Pros: Great food and attentive server!
Cons: Cheesy LA crowd, waited over an hour for our reservation.
