Review content:
My wife and I were regulars at Celadon since it's opening. We had enjoyed the food and service. The main reason for our returning was the mgr.-Michael. He seemed to be everywhere at once, giving a hand to the waiters bussers, or customers. Michael always remembered the guests and their preferences! Since this last June, when we were told he was on vacation, we had returned 5 times-but never again. The last visit, we asked the hostess for a different table, and then asked for Michael, the new mgr. came over and said, he doesn't work here anymore, and that HE, BRIAN,WAS THE MANAGER! and that he had a seating schedule, and that waiter needed to be sat. We had guests with us, and never have we been so insulted. We would have left, but my wife said,""no,at least the food is always fantastic. The rest. was not busy and never got busy, in fact the table we wanted-never got sat. The waiter was rude and didn't seem to care. We should have left, AOC is just down the block. We have spoken to several friends, who were reg.'s and the have all said the same thing-service is horrible and the manager is rude, and doesn't care. It,s so sad, because Chef Danny is so talented! But his food can't make up for the rest. We just donot believe the ownersmade such a poor call, in letting Michael leave. If they can get Michael back, they better do it, while they have some business left. If anyone knows where Michael is, tellhim to contact us, we will patronize any where he is. Now as to the revue on10/5 and the managers responce. How could they tell, at the time of dining? He is never in the room, & if he is, he is rude & non-caring. Hope they will return, & he will [TRY?] and fix the problem. To the food, I donot agree, but HE says,"" IT WAS THEIR TASTE.""--CRASS! To itemize their check, again ,""CRASS>"" Evidently,BRIAN doesn't realize, that we as patrons, pay his wages, by going to Celadon. With all the feedback, we have heard, from friends and the last 2 reviews--THE OWNERS BETTER WAKE UP!
Pros: Fantastic Food!
Cons: Manager Brian, the service, & no more Michael!
