Businiess name:  Sun Country Cleaners

Review content:
Although our problem started at the Sun Country Cleaners at the 10458 Roosevelt location (near Publix on 9th), the reviewer below me and I have a commonality with a problem with drapes and possibly the same manager (Sue). Although my husband uses this cleaner, I was always disappointed with my dress clothes so against my better judgement we brought in a silk drape from our dining room that had some spots on it. The spots only looked worse when I got it back (and they charged us $20) but the real problem was when I opened the package the drape was torn and tattered!!!! The tearing was about 3 inches wide and went about 75% down the entire length of the drape. When I returned it, the clerk (who was rather pleasant) said she remembered when my husband brought it in and it didn't look like that and acknowleged that it looked like one of their machines did it during the cleaning process and she apologized. She said she'd have the off-site manager (Sue) call us to discuss where to go from there (downhill, I later found out.) The manager said that the drape was torn when we turned it in (absolute lie---why in the world would we care about cleaning a drape that was shredded like that?) even though my husband insisted that the clerk confirmed that it was indeed NOT damaged, only soiled. The manager, who was defensive and short, refused to take any responsibility and told us that it looked like sun damage!?!?!?!? We have 3 windows in our dining room, with 3 drapes--not possible that the sun could even have shredded them like that in the first place, but I looked and the other two are just fine. We are stopping our patronizing of this Cleaner and recommend that you do as well.
