I agree with the person in the other review, this place is awful. I went in a week before I turned 21 to take the HSC test, and they wouldn't let me take it unless I was buying a gun that day. They gave me some BS story about how they were ""rationing"" the cards. I went to Goleta Gun and Supply and they let me take it right then and there. When I made the mistake of going back on my birthday to look at guns, I waited around to be helped for 20 minutes while the guy behind the counter dicked around with two other people who weren't even buying anything. They didn't have what I wanted so when I asked if I could order it online and have it shipped to them he cut me off mid sentence and said ""I don't do that."" I found something I wanted to take a look at in the case but the guy just walked away and didn't care so I left quite angry. While I was there, there was another guy who was buying a used revolver and he had noticed there was a scratch on it and the person behind the counter replied ""well it's too late now, you already bought it."" My brother did have a good experience buying a shotgun from them though, so I don't know. I just know that they were jerks to me and I would never buy anything from them.
Pros: The store smells like pipe tobacco
