Review content:
I went to lunch at the 'Heritage Perk' yesterday. \r \r It was hot, and I was tired, alone and a bit lonely, but when I talked to Peggy, the cheerful gal behind the counter, she remembered me from a couple of past visits and inquired about my health [she remembered I'd had a fall a month ago-what a sweetheart]. \r \r Suddenly I was not so lonely. While there, I talked to a couple of regular Heritage Perk clients who were using their computers and the Wy-Fi available for a second (I was bummed that I'd forgotten to bring my own computer so that I could check my emails and grab my incoming Shaklee orders, but then I realized that I needed the time away from business to relax and think about anything but business.)\r \r I read three publications, and had a couple of glasses of the absolute best Peach Iced Tea in Michigan, along enjoyed a delicious Caribbean Chicken Salad Croissant sandwich. YUM!\r \r One of the best lunchtimes I have had in a long time. The only thing better would have been if someone I knew had dropped by to share a strawberry smoothie or cup of java. Maybe next time I'll take a friend with me.
