Review content:
Here’s my incredibly ridiculous experience with Fry’s Electronics…
Needed a new projector and called ahead to make sure product was in stock. They told me it was. When I arrived, it was not. Then they explain to me that they have “comparable” models to the projector that I needed. I decided to trust the store employees because I have no reason not to thus far so I take the “comparable” model. I was told on that first visit that I had 15 days to return for whatever reason.. After I set up the “comparable” model, it wasn’t stretching the picture enough. Called the manufacturer and they told me to exchange it for different model as it didn’t have the right specs. I returned the product within the 15 days. They still didn’t have the original model I was looking for so they sold me another product that was 200 dollars more than the original. I took it because it was for a restaurant and I needed it that day. This mode this time had picture too big so I went back to return the second faulty product for a third time. This time they proceeded to charge me $150 restocking fee even though the last employee I spoke with told me that they would not charge the restocking fee since I had so many issues with my previous purchases. The same woman I spoke with about waiving the $150 restocking fee lied to my face and told me she never said that…even though she did. I would gladly pay it if I didn't ask specific questions about it. Instead, I left feeling cheated.
