Review content:
I'm a big fan of this salon. It's difficult to find a place where you can get a decent, professional men's cut in the Providence area. Generally, around here, the options are: guido, thug, boy's cut, or.......Supercuts. Sure, you can go to Newbury St. in Boston, spend a ton of money, and hang out in some hipster salon – and, if you really know where to go, I’m sure both the atmosphere and talent is great. But, simply going somewhere on Newbury Street certainly won't guarantee you a good haircut. Presumably, it just narrows the chances that you won't. I don't know about you, but I'm not risking an entire morning or afternoon going to some salon in Boston, dropping a ton of money, and then walking away disappointed - all for the mere privilege of saying I have a haircut that I got on Newbury Street. Hell no. And, good news for me, I don't have to.
Jon Richard Salon combines great quality with great atmosphere. Not pretentious. Never over-priced. Just good quality service in a professional (and rather slick) atmosphere. To me, if you find a place that you can trust with your hair, it doesn’t matter if it’s on Park Ave in NYC or Park Ave in Cranston – stick with that place. I’ll stick with Jon Richard.
