Great atmosphere but more importantly great work. Finally a place a guy can get a professional cut.
My wife started going first and has been very happy with her cuts and colors and recommended I give it a try. I don't exactly have the hair I used to and had fallen into a routine of barbershop & quick cuts (you know the places) - but gave it a shot over the holidays. Finally a trendy place a guy can get a cut without feeling: a: I am in a women's salon, or b: I don't have the hair to be in this hiphop ""kids"" salon. My wife and I have lived most our lives in bigger metro cities (Boston, NYC, LA, Philly) but have settled in RI to raise our kids and found this place by accident (we had stopped at Spikes - great hot dogs by the way). The place has a very professional, trendy feel and in my case the stylist (Jonathan) took time to work with me - not just put me in the chair and clip it short. I got a great cut and my wife thinks I look great too. Very happy with this shop and will continue to go back.
Pros: Full service, upscale feel with reasonable prices
