Review content:
I've been hesitant to write this review as Ephesus is my family's favorite restaurant; if too many folks know, it won't be special anymore. But it's so good that I must write anyway. We've been eating here for several years and have always had consistently high quality food and service. The reason for this is Chef Hasan is always there cooking or overseeing. The wait staff is excellent and attentive. Ephesus has the freshest year-round tasty salads and most consistently good hummus we've had anywhere. The entrees are imaginative and delicious, they even have their own Washington Merlot. There is no better place for sure in West Seattle and probably the rest of the city, all things considered. The friendliness and lack of pretentiousness will impress you. Reservations aren't usually needed unless you're coming from far away or have a fairly large group, especially on weekends.
Pros: quality of food, friendliness, good value
