My husband and I stopped in around 9 pm for a quick salad on Friday night. We were met with incompetence as soon as we entered the door. We were amongst 15 people waiting for a table, although the resturant was only half full. At least 10 times waitresses passed us by before we were asked if we wanted a table. After being seated we gave our entire order - instead of the drink order. Simple enough - 2 chef salads and two sweet teas. We received only one salad and a chicken platter. Okay - we thought. We are hungry the salad was huge and we wanted a truly pleasant experience. As the minutes passed, and the salad was half eaten we found something. I am not going to speculate what it was, but ... it wasn't supposed to be there. We found the waitress and she said nothing other than it looked gross. Our salad was not replaced. We were not compensated for our food, time or trouble & we were forced to leave still hungry. Upon leaving the cashier was most concerned with the braids in her hair and her appearance. She turned to the other cashier and stated she had plans and could she finish ringing us because she needed to run to the back and tinkle. We were half way through the transaction. I will not be returning to Famous Anthony's.
