First of all, I LOVE sushi... I'm from San Francisco, lived in Los Angeles, and visited all parts of the United States. This is definitely one of the best tasting places for sushi at reasonable prices. They have the standard rolls, sashimi, and the chefs can make new pieces on a whim! There are always new dishes created weekly by the chef, many of them daringly exotic and unique. \r \r The ambiance is pretty amazing. Soothing music and lighting make the experience a place you'd like to take your date or for a business meeting. Definitely an upper class establishment. The sushi was fresh, tasty, and designed aesthetically. The service was prompt, polite, and proper. I lost count how many times the waiter came over to check how I was doing. He even poured my soy sauce for me! Now that's service! \r \r The hibachi was also great. The chefs were talkative and entertaining. They put on quite a show with serving the meals, flaming shrimps acrobatically placed onto a plate five feet away, and little volcanoes with the onion rings. Cool show... Best of all, the ""premium meat"" is the best hibachi steak I've ever had. It's way better than filet mignon! It's soft, tender, succulent, and abundant to satisfy any hunger. I would have ordered two and taken one back for room service if I wasn't so cheap.\r \r The owners were super nice. While I was waiting for my seat (5mins), they actually came up to talk to me and ask how I was doing. I explained that I was here temporarily for an interview with Emory U. for surgery residency and I how I always had a hard time finding a good sushi/habachi restaurant when I flew around the country for school. However, after that evening, I was totally enamored with the restaurant. \r \r Even though I am originally from the west coast and love the restaurants out there, I will totally consider moving to Emory U. for residency knowing full well there are excellent restaurants like Hanami available in Canton, GA!
