Review content:
We had been looking for a new restaurant to try in the area and decided to try the Old Granary since we had seen good comments about it in local magazines recently. We eat out as a family once a month, so this was going to be the place. Our family is quite hard to please, with a grouchy grandpa and little ones, too, so this place had it's work cut out. They delivered. The menu was broad enough to cover a little of everyone's taste, and all said that the meal was awesome. But the cool part was the restaurant and the staff. We have heard that Fearrington Village was snooty; I can say that we were treated as if we had been at someone's private home for the evening. I do not normally write comments on things like eating establishments, but this deserves it. Great job to Fearrington staff!
Pros: Great overall restaurant. Fun atmosphere. INCREDIBLE STAFF!
Cons: In the country and a little drive, but worth it!
