When on vacation, I ALWAYS seek out the Children's museums! When visiting a friend near San Diego, I let her in on my secret... She was amazed at what we found... I on the other hand expected no less.
The Carlsbad Children's Museum is amazing and takes away a lot of the scary part of growing up. There is a little store, that lets children be the grocer, and even use the register! Children can learn about colors and bubbles and sounds. They learn the scientific things, but in the disguise of PLAYING!!
I like to go myself... I mean bring my children... so I can learn more, AND return to my childhood adventures.
