Everyone has opinions about what makes great Italian food great - and let's face it - there are literally a million Italian restaurants around. But when you get honest, home cooked Italian food, you KNOW it. And that's exactly what you'll get at Portovino, but hidden in an innocuous strip mall near the inter-coastal waterway. Yes, the service people are teenagers, and the owner sits on a couch watching TV when he isn't cooking, but so what! Do you want good food, or a phony Olive Garden corporate food experience. Do yourself a favor and go there - and order the Lasagna. You'll thank me.
