Review content:
My son has always been interested in doing Karate (thanks to Kung Fu Panda!) but I could never find a place we both liked. Karate Kids was our fourth try at finding a dojo that worked for both of us.
cut to the chase: my son loves it and goes to about 5 classes a week (monthly price covers unlimited classes). Sensei Alec (especially) makes the classes fun and engaging and they have a great structure for belt testing. It's clean, has a great lobby where parents can wait (and watch, if they wish) and they keep the parents informed about what the kids are working on.
We are very happy here and plan on staying for as long as the Kung Fu Panda fever lasts (2 years and counting ...)
Pros: Structured, great for self-esteem building, learning control
Cons: upsell on workshops and tourneys gets tiresome
