Even though it has been a while since I've needed Johnson Leathers, my experience with their services was so positive that I wanted to let others know. I have an old favorite lealther jacket (very dressy) that was in a bit of disrepair. Dull finish, torn pockets and lining from hard wear (and this was a dress jacket not one for riding a Harley!). Anyway, I read about them in a Best of the Bay edition of an old San Francisco Focus (KQED) magazine and decided to see if they could help. I took my beloved jacket in for repair; their shop on Polk was full of beautiful quality leather in the front, while I could see leather being worked on in the rear. When I picked up my jacket about 7-10 days later (I wasn't in a rush), I found it beautifully reconditioned...smooth and lustrous black leather. I found the lining and pockets had been artfully replaced with lovely black satiny material. AND, they had added a wonderful little eyeglass or security breast pocket within the lining to hold all those important extras. My coat looked brand new!! The cost was reasonable, and I was totally satisfied. Pros: Quality workmanship (repair and reconditioning) and for sale items Cons: I wish I owned a Harley to buy all that beautiful leather!
