Review content:
The decor was about the only thing my husband and I enjoyed about Jing. The water feature was a nice touch, and the white booths were elegant looking - athough we didn't get one as we were only a party of two and the booths seat several people. We were given a small table for two about two feet from another table for two, and we could hear their conversation as though we were dining with them. While the decor is very romantic-looking, the noise level in the dining room kept it from feeling romantic. The food was extremely overpriced for Chinese food. At the reccomendation of our server, my husband had the Peppercorn Tenderloin ($26) which he thought was nothing special, and I had the Yushan Chicken ($14) which was flavorless. For an appetizer, we also had the Blue Lump Crab Wontons which were pretty good, but there were only four of them for double the price we would normally pay for six at a Chinese restaurant. My husband also ordered the Hot & Sour Soup, but the server never brought it out. I had a Mandarin Cosmo which was strong, but then it should have been for $10! Overall, Jing was overpriced, the food and service were not very good, and even though the restaurant was pretty, the ambience wasn't great because it was extremely noisy.
Pros: Conveniently located near Landmark Theater, Elegant Decor
Cons: Overpriced, bland food, bad service, noisy
