I live in Manhattan and for a couple of years shopped around getting estimates for reupholstering 6 dining room chairs and 2 sides chairs -- all antiques. I purchased the fabric I wanted from Zarin and went with Andy at Master of Upholstery to do the work, as I had seen & liked the work he did for a friend. He came to my home to give me an estimate, picked up the chairs and delivered them when he was finished. They did a masterful job -- the chairs had never looked as good as they do today, plus they are more comfortable too! You too can shop around for estimates at Lore, Joe's, Zarin, The Furniture Joint, etc., as I did -- or just call Andy at Master of Upholstery. The quality of workmanship is excellent and his prices are competitive with the aforementioned businesses.
