Review content:
I should have stayed in the store while the employees tore through my clothes. When I returned from my errand, the girl working said, in a very condescending way, that my clothes were 'too mature' for their store. However, my 7 'A' pocket jeans and one other pair of pants, were not 'too mature' for an $8.75 offer. I was so humiliated! I quickly agreed, but I should have ripped my pants off the table and walked out, because as soon as I said OK, she HIGH FIVED her fellow employee behind the counter! I have worked consignment, and if it is your policy that you remain in the store while the appraiser looks through your clothes, it should be mentioned beyond a website. Especially if someone says they are going to step out, and have never been there before. It would be better than humiliating them after the fact. I should go straight to the owner, if I owned that store; I would want to know what was going on behind my counter. Overall, Plato's was just a terrible experience. I'm not sorry to say that I would never recommend this store to anyone.
