Review content:
I am a new UNI this year, and I've learned that University High School takes pride in being one of the best high schools in Orange County. In my opinion, however, the school focuses too much on its academics and not enough on extra curricular activities (such as sports). Granted, education is always first, but I do not think that starting school at 7:30 in the morning (whereas other high schools in the district start later) is going to make us better students. \r \r The teachers I've had so far have been quite helpful and love what they do (teaching). At UNI the homework load is horrendous. There is almost no difference between CP and Honors/AP classes. Although this school is very competitive, it prepares its students for college. Pros: Diversity to some extent, preparation for college Cons: Not enough school spirit, facilties need some work, not a very clean campus, staff is not helpful sometimes
