Review content:
Every child should have the experience of going to a pumpkin patch in the Fall to choose that one very special pumpkin that will create MAGIC on that much anticipated spooky night late in October. Johnson Bros. provides that for families, groups, and individuals. Its worth going to if you've never done it before, and they offer a petting zoo, of sorts, and pony rides.\r
...but be ready, because WOW are they overpriced! \r
\r
The only reason I go anymore is because they're the only place I know of that sells bunches of cornstalks with which to decorate the front of my house. Last year in 2007 corstalks were $9 for a skinny bunch, so I couldn't get as many as I would have liked. They should've charged $6 a bunch for what they were offering. \r
I'm sure this year they'll be $10 or more. I'll pay it, of course, and be happy to have them.\r
\r
November 1st, they let you fill a wheel barrow full of as many pumpkins as you can get into it for $10! If you want pumpkins to decorate or cook with for the Thanksgiving season, they're the place to go because grocery stores stupidly throw out their cache of pumpkins immediatley after Halloween.\r
\r
Johnson Bros. provides a time honored tradition and service that I'm glad still exsists, but you will PAY for it. Just know that going in and have fun anyway!\r
Thanks Johnson Brothers!
Pros: Great traditional outing for families, sells bunches of cornstalks, sells pumpkins AFTER Halloween, pettng zoo (sort of),pony rides, photo ops!
Cons: WAY over priced for what they offer. I truly beleive they'd be even MORE successful if they brought prices down because families would flock to them. Now they have to bargain shop elsewhere.
