Review content:
Mignola Farms delivered to my property a huge quantity of a soil amendment they call ""Steer Plus,"" which was then tilled into my soil by my landscape contractor. I didn't bother to inspect this product before it was added to my soil because I didn't feel the need to do so. After this was done, I was shocked to find an enormous quantity of garbage that didn't belong in the Steer Plus: broken glass, twisted pieces of tape, metal, wire, chunks of fabric, flattened bottle caps, pieces of hard plastic, pieces of plastic bags, rusty nails, pull-off tabs from soda cans, and various other types of junk. The quantity was astonishing. I've been removing what is visible, which has taken me hours, but there is much lurking beneath the surface of the soil that will take me forever to remove. When I phoned the owner of Mignola Farms to describe what was contained in this product and to ask how it got mixed into the Steer Plus, the answer was something along the lines of, ""Oh, I don't know. It just gets in there."" Does this garbage fall from the sky and land in the Steer Plus? I mean, they must have some idea of how it ends up in their product. I asked why they don't inspect such products when they mix the raw materials they receive from elsewhere in the state; I wasn't given an answer. Needless to say, I will never order another product from them and I'm getting the word out to everyone I know to never purchase a thing from this substandard nursery.
Cons: Inferior soil amendment
