Review content:
I purchased two fairly expensive mirrors ($400+) mirrors from Up Town Antiques in late March 2009 and had them shipped to my home in Nebraska. Because the mirrors were displayed high upon the walls in the shop, I didn't have the chance to look at the back of them before shipping. When they arrived at my home (both with pieces loose) it was apparent that they were brand new and manufactured in China! I remembered having a conversation with a staff member that I had to buy both mirrors because I would feel bad if they had been hanging together for a century and I didn't keep them together. She didn't correct me and tell me that they were reproductions. \r
It is my belief that if an antique store sells reproductions of antiques that they should be clearly marked. I was very disappointed!
Cons: Reproductions sold as antique
