Review content:
Great place to send your girls for gymnastics. They teach great technique, condition for power, strength and endurance, encourage good health & nutrition, prepare athletes mentally as well as physically, fabulous dance training, brevet judge/coach for up to date code requirements, and a large, safe, fully equipped gym. \r
My daughter trained there for 6 years and loved it. All the coaches treated her as if she were their own child. They are instinctively aware of minor injuries (even tho the athlete may try to hide it) and take precautions to prevent it from becoming a major injury. They train with strict guidelines for safety reasons but also allowing the fun in each workout. Their philosophy is to train each gymnast to the best of their ability, giving praise for even the smallest of accomplishments, regardless of the level of competition.\r
My daughter earned a full ride scholarship to a top 10 Division 1 University because of their training and I thank them for keeping the sport fun and successful through the teen years. This kept her desire to continue on for another 4 years after HS graduation which was the ultimate goal. \r
Great place for pre-schoolers through Elite. \r
I always highly recommend Desert Lights to anyone who asks.
