We ordered a cover and lift. The Cover was put on exactly to the instructions, and within 2 months, it ripped in NON-STRESSED areas. We contacted our local dealer, and were left to deal with these slobs by ourselves.
We sent the receipts, pictures of the rips, and the warranty card to Ideal. They dragged their feet for a couple of months, while our lid got worse. Their final decision was for us to remove the skin and send it to them to be repaired. They would not replace it. We wasted over 500.00 on this piece of garbage, so what was a few more dollars of shipping from Alaska?
After these holes in Cali saw the skin, they sent a new one at our expense again. If they had actually looked at the p;ictures of the damage, and pulled their heads
out, they would have just sent the skin directly.
Than ks to their shoddy workmanship, we are now trying to put the styrofoam back in the skin. Save your selves time, trouble and cash. Buy a lid from anyone but Ideal.
Pros: None. They don't deserve the one star!
Cons: Crappy product, poor customer service
