Review content:
I had a really poor experience with Camfeldts Flowers. My original issue was with the flowers, but things really went downhill when Joe (the owner) finally replied to my complaint. First, the flowers. I ordered 2 arrangements for my grandmother’s funeral. I was very specific (yes, I am a picky), but Joe assured me he had the flowers in stock to meet my needs. He did not deliver. The arrangements were mostly fillers and did not contain the flowers or quality Joe assured me they would. And I paid $450 for 2 arrangements. I was floored and embarrassed when I saw these arrangements next to those made by the other local florists at the funeral service. I emailed him immediately after the service. 5 days later, he replied (after a second email I sent suggesting I would share my poor experience online if not addressed). All I can say is “wow”. Here are a few direct quotes. “You, my lady, are a piece of work, and want something for nothing”. “And you have no idea about quality or quantity of floral designs”. “Because of your married background you think you have clout” (I assume this is in reference to my Asian name and Caucasian Gma?). ”I know you had plans to complain so you could get free flowers”. “So be it, you have your issues, and time to get over them.” And then (I think?) a threat. “I will be googling you and your husband and look into your professional lives”. I could go on, but I think the tone and message is clear. This is not a guy who responds well to criticism and not a guy who’s willing to stand behind his work. Bottom line: he didn’t deliver on what he told me he would do. When I called him on it, he wrote what must be the most boneheaded and condescending customer service replies I have ever received. Buyer beware!
