this is a comfortable, friendly place to stay. it seems like it would work best for couples or for low-maintenance people who just want to see the area for a couple days without spending a ton of money. the service was very friendly and personal.\r \r the room was pretty decent, clean, and comfortable. the bedding and furniture make it more pleasant and modern, but the walls and bathroom make the room look less new than you can see in the pictures. my only real complaints are that the lamps give off harsh, fluorescent light instead of soft, warm light, but maybe i'm picky. also, the bath towels were pretty much child-sized and a bit worn.\r \r the location is also very nice...if you're there to see the city, this is a great spot. there is a free trolley within walking distance that will take you to the aquarium/ fisherman's wharf/ shopping area. there is plenty of good food within walking distance, and there is a gas station right next door for when you're ready to drive back home. you can definitely hear some traffic going by at night, especially if you're on the first floor, right in the parking lot, but it wasn't a big problem, and the fan drowned it out anyway.\r \r stay here if you're looking for a comfortable stay at a convenient location, but if you want much more than that, you'll have to pay more somewhere else.
