What started off as a good experience (good communication and timeliness) turned sour when I went to pick the boat up. The boat was parked in the grass with the canvas off, filling with rain water. Upon closer inspection, there were new scratches in the gelcoat, black greasy fingerprints on the white canvass, dirty greasy footprints on the seats, and the dirty old parts strewn about on the floor. The workers on that day did buff out the scratches and helped clean some of the grease and dirt up. When I returned home, I spent an additional two hours cleaning the boat to undue the grease and dirt. When I approached Jim the next day to share with him what had happened, he would only deny all of the issues and then proceeded to insult me and became defensive. Since Off The Hook didn't take the opportunity to make the situation right, I feel I should share my experience with others. What could have been a good experience became text book bad service.
