I'll try to keep this short folks. I went into this ""establishment"" to price some wood flooring. I found the owner to be as personable and decent as any I've dealt with over the years. I had him come out and measure my home for wood flooring. (Not a big house at 1,800 sq. ft., but decent size that I had specified when he asked in the store) To make a long story short, he wasn't in a very good mood that morning but I didn't let it bother me as I've been in customer service and sales for years and I know how that can happen. He gets all done measuring, asks for a fax # and I offer him my e-mail instead. We part on good terms and he says he'll get it ouy shortly. One week goes by and no quote in my email so I call him back. He makes a weak excuse that his ""phone lines"" have been down and he hasn't been able to get the quote out. He then grumpily indicates I'll have it in good order. That was about 6 weeks ago. I've subsequently went to another establishment in Rockford and purchased wood flooring from them. I've never been treated so shabbily in my life. If the job was too small, which I suspect it was for his taste, he should have had the backbone to say so. As a matter of fact, he had the opportunity TWICE to just say: ""thanks but no thanks"" and apparently didn't have the decency to do so. Pretty unimpressive overall and the only time I've ever written a bad review on this site, but it needed to be said.
