Review content:
They rebuilt my transmission at a cost of $1500, which seems ok now. First off, the owner (Rob) doesn't return calls when you have questions. They have a big sign that says they specialize in transmissions, but the (ONLY) guy that rebuilds for them only comes in at night for a few hours, and his license on the wall expired in 2007. My biggest issue with this place is a matter of principle. About 50 miles after leaving I got a check engine light, I called the owner, we talked about possible causes, and upon investigation I found that they had physically broken an oxygen sensor while removing/installing the transmission. I changed the oxygen sensor myself and returned the following Monday with a receipt to be reimbursed for the cost of the broken sensor ($46). The owner (Rob) called me a liar, laughed through half of our conversation, and after arguing for about 30 minutes offered me a $25 credit toward future service (but no reimbursement for the part they broke). The worst service I've ever seen. This is how he treats a customer who spends $1500 at his facility. He can keep his $25 credit, and he can lose the business of all of my friends and family. We know a lot of people in Bay City, and they'll all be hearing about this cheap, rude, jerk.
