Review content:
I learned archery in high school back when I was living in New Orleans, LA. I thought it was cool then, but not many of my peers were into archery. Now that I am married to a man who loves hunting and fishing, it was the perfect excuse for me to get back into archery. I purchased a used bow from a friend of his and refurbished it. The friend thought the bow was ruined forever since it is a Bear Woody and caught in a flood. I brought it to the Bow Zone (needed new string, arrows and supplies) and these gentlemen really took care of me. They were fairly impressed on the rehabilitation of the bow. I got excellent advice on how to continue the care for my bow. They took it apart and thoroughly inspected the bow. These guys know and understand the potential danger of a malfunctioning bow. Once it passed inspection, they put it back together and custom cut my string. I called all over Houston and could not find one retailer who had string that would fit my bow except the Bow Zone. I was then measured and outfitted for my arrows which they custom cut for me then added feather fletching and field tips. All of it was probably included in the price but the customer service was so supurb, I felt like I was getting quite a deal. They sighted my bow and worked with me to polish up my archery skills. My overall experience was very good. The employees are knowledgeable, they participate in various tournaments (and place in the top three), they too are avid outdoorsmen and they love what they do. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, I would highly recommend this place for all your archery needs. First class service all the way. Pros: Excellent Customer Service Cons: Gravel Parking Lots Produce Dirty Vehicles Especially After Rain
