I had experience severe lightning and surge damage on several occasions at our residence. I called several lightning protection companies to have them give us a proposal for protection. We have a Crestron home automation system and a Lutron lighting control system that were damaged twice in one year costing us over $50,000 in repair each occurrence. I was amazed at how little each company knew about the control systems we had and I could tell that they were extremely uncomfortable about recommending adequate protection. Fortunately, one of my calls was to Bob Levit of Trebor Power System. Bob was patient, knowledgeable and extremely detailed in determining the proper protection requirements. Many of the lightning protection companies just wanted to sell us lightning rods but Mr. Levit gave us a comprehensive systems' approach to protecting our home properly. We have now had their surge protection, power filtering and structural lightning protection system in for over three years and I am happy to say we have experience zero damage. Additionally, we have seen our electrical maintenance costs go down by over 50%. I would strongly recommend Trebor Power for any homeowner. Trebor Power is the best I have ever seen. My husband now uses their services in his manufacturing facility and he has witnessed a tremendous savings in maintenance costs since the installation.
