Review content:
Small town Athens has a hidden winner. Out of the way small cafe with a nice mix of entrees and sandwiches. Everything is fresh and cooked to order. No canned sauces. Seats maybe 35 but clean as a pin. The portions are huge. Ordered the ribs but the waitress returned to say they were out. The owner/chef came out and apologized. That's a rarity. He more than made up for it with the alternative order of BBQ chicken. Be ready to ask for a to go box. Salads are not included with meal but is well worth the price. Pricey for the all you can eat buffet crowd but if you want a great meal without it being supplied by Sysco, this is the place to be. Did i mention the onion rings are to die for? I told my wife Not tonight, I'm good to go now.
Pros: Onion rings to die for
Cons: After 6:00 PM, it seems to stress the staff.
