I question the authenticity of all the other reviews posted here because this place was not that good. ""Best restaurant on the Eastside"", really?. When we arrived, our reception was lukewarm (at best) and it only got worse. They are listed on this and other sites as ""kid friendly"" but it's more like ""kid-tolerant"". I had my two kids with me and when we were seated, we were handed one dinner menu. When I asked for the kids menu, you would have thought I was asking for the world. Jimmy, our server, was clearly annoyed and I am not sure why. My kids were still on their good behavior at this point! We were there early on Saturday night so we did not experience the music, but the food was average at best. I had the Spaghetti de Mare which was overcooked. The pasta was mushy and the shrimp was dry and tough. Even the kids didn't like their spaghetti - they said it tasted ""funny"". The atmosphere was cozy, romantic and comfortable and Jimmy's attitude improved over the course of the meal, so by the time the check came he was quite pleasant. Imagine that. Overall, it wasn't an entirely unpleasant experience but I can't think of any reason why we would eat here again.
