Review content:
I have been a member of Lionsgate Athletic association for a little over 2 years- I also happen to live in Lionsgate. Like any other gym it gets busy a certain times and sometimes the people at the front desk aren't very friendly. However, that is pretty much how other gyms that I have belonged to are. Lionsgate does have nice equipment that is well maintained and they have very acceptable hours and have policies that they enforce that makes the gym safe and keeps it clean.
In regards to the 37-week pregnant woman who was likely hormanal and by the way- what type of exercise were you doing at 37 weeks?-were you trying to induce labor?
The inconvience of having a pass that was for each person (i.e. so that you couldn't switch cards with family members) was for security and to help limit the amount of young children and teenagers who liked to play on the equipment in the gym- some parents used the gym as a baby sitter, simply giving their cards to their children and letting them ""play"" at the gym. There was also a problem with people using other people's cards, so the measure was taken to make sure each person had their own card- very reasonable in my opinion.
The sad fact is that ""Webb"" who wrote the review failed that signs were posted for +4 WEEKS prior to the people who didn't have their own card being denied access. So, obviously she didn't work out between weeks 33 - 37 or she didn't read the signs. Either way I felt I needed to post the truth about that situtation because I detest people who tell have truths. She obviously is one of those people that needs something to complain about and if it wasn't the pass I am sure she would have complained about something else. Don't let one negative comment about an establishment put you off, go and visit and decide for yourself.
