This salon has it ALL, very friendly and knowledgeable staff, great services at reasonable prices, and a beautiful atmosphere. I have been to some of the other ""popular"" salons in TC and wasn't very pleased-there was either someone rude, someone gossiping about the person that had just walked out the door, or I waited forever with hardly anyone noticing me at ALL! I had decided to hilight my own hair at home and it went waaay wrong! I had been recommended by many people to Genesis. When I walked in the door I was greeted promptly and offered something to drink. I did not wait long on my stylist, Krystal was wonderful. She listened to what I was trying to achieve, recommended what she thought, and discussed what she was going to do and listened to my feedback on that. I really felt like she was putting me as #1 and listening, genuinely to what I wanted. She took my hair from from brassy orange leopard spots-LOL- to a wonderful light brown mocha with blonde hilights. We also cut my hair-as she recommended to take my hair to a healthy state. I am really glad I decided to let go of the too long and damaged hair! She gave me a beautiful medium length cut with layers and then did a texturing thing at the end after it was dry-she said that's what would make the haircut AND IT DID. It was soo easy for me to fix, I got tons of compliments, it looked like I had completely different hair. She also sent me home with some great haircare called Alterna-it has completely transformed my hair! I was there for awhile because I was getting my hair ""corrected"" and ALL of the work I saw was beautiful, everyone was so friendly and happy. There was great christian music playing-nothing loud and obscene! I have been back to Krystal several times now and thought I should post a comment, my hair has been completely transformed into different hair! I would recommend this salon to people who need a new look or are just looking for an awesome salon.
Pros: services, staff, atmosphere, prices, EVERYTHING!
Cons: They are pretty busy and share a parking lot with a neighboring business, so parking can be tight
