AFTER BEING QUOTED A PRICE ON KEYSTONE, WE AGREED TO PURCHASE (BASED ON THE SAMPLE PROVIDED) THE FOLLOWING WEEK. LARRY'S SENT OVER THE CREDIT CARD AUTHORIZATION FORM TO COMPLETE THE ORDER--ONLY THEY DIDN'T MENTION THAT THEY CHANGED THE PRICE BY $2 PER FOOT HIGHER THAN WHAT THEY QUOTED. AFTER BEING QUESTIONED ABOUT IT, THEIR RESPONSE WAS THAT THE KEYSTONE WAS HARD TO GET, SO THE PRICE WENT UP. DON'T YOU THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE MENTIONED THAT WHEN WE CALLED TO ORDER?\r

BECAUSE THE MATERIAL FROM THE SAMPLE LOOKED GOOD, WE DECIDED TO SPLURGE AND BUY IT ANYWAY, EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT APPRECIATE HAVING THE PRICE CHANGED ON US WITHOUT ANY NOTIFICATION (VERY SNEAKY).\r

IN ANY EVENT, WHEN THE KEYSTONE CAME, 2 PALLETS WERE FINE, BUT ANOTHER WAS TERRIBLE--WITH EXTREME DISCOLORATIONS WITH DARK BROWN VEINS, AND NO SHELLS OR ANYTHING THAT MADE IT LOOK LIKE THE HIGH-END STONE WE HAD SPLURGED ON. MY GC ASKED TO BE ABLE TO RETURN THAT PALLET AND WAS TOLD YES, THAT THEY WOULD TAKE IT BACK B/C THEY WOULD HAVE NO PROBLEM SELLING IT. BUT THEN THEY CHANGED THEIR MINDS ON THAT TOO. I UNDERSTAND AND FULLY EXPECT VARIATIONS IN ANY NATURAL STONE--DUH!!! BUT THIS ROCK IS JUST PLAIN UGLY AND IS NOTHING, I MEAN NOTHING LIKE THE SAMPLE. THEY HAVE GIVEN US THE RUNAROUND FROM DAY 1 AND I WILL NEVER, EVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN.
