Not even 1 star. This is an SRO -- rooms about 15x12, bath down the hall just like in the Tenderloin - the guy rudely cut me off when I started to tell him about someone else besides me who was interested. I just said ""A friend of mine from..."" and he stopped me to say""It's Sunday night and you want to tell me an anecdote about someone I'll never meet..."" which is not what I was doing, just trying to tell him that this person is also interested in their rates. Good information for NORMAL business people.
He got even more rude when I told him I saw The Palomar on the Internet, ""I don't have an ad! People think it's a hotel! I don't have an ad!"" But their info is still online, sparse but exists and this was upsetting to him, I must be wrong. We spent more time on this subject than anything else.
It's a great location, I lived in SC for many years and would love to have a place downtown. But not this frickin'
joint with a rude a**hole who turns away business with his crappy, allegedly pedophilc personality. Besides, I do know the place and it's dump inside. $5XX.00/mo
