Review content:
They've been around forever, so they are definitely doing something right and have earned the trust of the community. My regular visits were very positive. The work they do is quality and the rates are fair.
The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I'm an amateur wrench. I bought a brand new OE steering rack to replace it myself (to save a few hundred bucks of course), but eventually decided to save myself the trouble and asked Mr. Petrone if he would take the job. When I told him I have the part, he immediately accused me trying to be smart. He looked greatly offended.
OK. I understand that from a business perspective, installing an unknown part might bite back later, but I didn't like being judged so hastily. He basically shoo'ed me away, with a look that said, 'I don't need customers like you.'
It's sad because I really liked the shop and his son Frank is an awesome guy.
Conclusion is that they are a great/trustworthy shop - just don't source the part yourself.
As of this writing, I think they are still a cash only business.
