AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! After I got the free estimate and we agreed on what I wanted to be done, the communication pretty much ended there. The owner, Bobby, did not honor the times in which he said the work would be done. The job was supposed to be complete by Tuesday afternoon, but only the tree was cut down Tuesday afternoon. Thursday the stump was ground. The new tree was planted after calling a million times, and it wasn't planted on Wednesday as Bobby indicated. They rarely gave a time in which they would show up, they just showed up whenever. They rarely answered my calls after the initial call to set up the job. I had to keep hounding them to get the job done. Otherwise, I almost never received a call letting me know when they would show up, and they never showed up to do the work on the agreed time when there was one. Instead, they sent a bill before the work was complete to collect money on work that wasn't performed. Goes to show what they main concern really is. The work was not all that great. The stump and roots were not ground thoroughly, so I still have roots sticking up everywhere. Bobby the owner was quite rude and insisted that he was doing me a favor, when in actuality we had a contract for the services he would perform for an agreed upon price, not a favor. His employees told me that he avoided customers at all costs except for the estimate. An employee of his found termites in my tree and suggested I get my property sprayed, but Bobby said it wasn't needed. After consulting my termite contractor, he insisted that Bobby should have suggested a spray as well. Overall, mediocre work, rude service, and poor communication. I would not hire them again and I would recommend for anyone looking for an arborists to stay away from TREECO. Even his employees will tell you the owner (Bobby) is not concerned with customer service.
