I've been dissatisfied with Life Ambulance service based in St. Albans. My mother receives dialysis three times per week and is transported from a nursing facility less than than a mile away. The dialysis facility is only 4 miles from the Ambulance base and she has been kept waiting to return to the facility as long as an hour, even though the times were scheduled. This is unacceptable as she frequently foregoes eating for fear of an incontinence episode. Being diabetic, this delay is completely unacceptable and she has never been given any reasons.
