Review content:
We stayed here quite a while ago and the place was looking a bit worn. Hyatt took it over and made it one of their Park Hyatt properties. After I guess it was one year of renovations, this hotel has returned to prominence! The rooms are very luxurious, the views are still tremendous and the service was excellent. Their Pacifc's Edge restaurant is one of those dining experiences you savor for quite a while (and so you should at that price!). Lobby area with big fireplaces, ocean views...very relaxing and peaceful. My wife surprised me by having our room decorated for our anniversary by a local company called Romantic Room Designs. When we got there, we had rose petals, candles, supplies for the bath, and some extra romantic goodies! We definitely plan on returning to the Highlands (and I've heard the Tickle Pink Inn next door is good too - just not as many services). A great anniversary memory! Pros: Views, Service, Restaurant Cons: Can't walk into town
