We asked our valet for a restaurant that locals would go to and he suggested Star...
the BEST stuffed mushrooms I've ever had in my life. All the food was top of the line great. I visit New Orleans from Mobile for 25 years and this place beats all the other ""popular"" tourist restaurants, hands down. Do yourself a favor and go there. It is small and charming. Everything melts in your mouth. My daughter had a steak to die for and my seafood rivalled anything I have gotten along the Gulf Coast.
