I'VE HAD SEVERAL FRIENDS WHO'VE HAD A DIFFICULT TIME GETTING ESAC TO STOP THE MONTHLY CHARGES ONCE THEIR CONTRACT EXPIRED. MY MEMBERSHIP WAS UP IN OCTOBER AND I ASKED AT THE FRONT DESK TWO SEPARATE TIMES TO BE SURE I DIDN'T GET CHARGED AFTER THE CONTRACT EXPIRED. I WAS ASSURED BY TWO DIFFERENT GUYS THAT I WOULDN'T RECEIVE ADDITIONAL CHARGES AFTER OCTOBER. TO MY SUPRISE MY NOVEMBER BANK STATEMENT SHOWED THE SAME MONTHLY CHARGE I'VE PAID THE LAST TWO YEARS. SPEAKING WITH THEM TODAY, AND EXPLAINING THE UNEXPECTED CHARGE, THEY SAID 'OH YEAH, YOU CHECKED THE 'AUTO RENEW BOX,' . THAT IS CRAP, I KNOW I DIDN'T DO THAT. WHY DIDN'T THAT SHOW UP WHEN THE TWO PREVIOUS DESK GUYS CHECKED IT FOR ME?THAT'S SO THEY COULD SOAK ME FOR ANOTHER MONTH OR TWO. THE ONLY WAY TO GET THEM TO STOP IS TO DOWNLOAD A TERMINATION FORM AND MAIL IT BY CERTIFIED MAIL-RETURN RECEIPT REQUESTED TO THE LONG POINT ROAD FACILITY. YOU CAN'T EVEN HAND DELIVER IT TO THEM, IT HAS TO BE CERTIFIED MAIL. REALLY A SCAM. THE PLACE STINKS TOO.
