First of all I have used CitySearch for 3 years now to find amazing restaurants. I love the hands on reviews and am never disappointed with my selections. This is my first review in 3 years, so you know this place is great. It is extremely small (seriously 5 2-tops and an 8-top) but very cozy. The lighting is very romantic, and I liked the mismatch plates. I thought the place had a lot of character. The windows are all covered so you don't have to worry about the hustle and bustle of people outside. The hostess was extremely polite ,and my glass of wine never ran empty. The chef explained the menu and the various main courses in great detail. I had the most perfectly cooked filet and scallop of my life. It literally melted in my mouth. The poached pear and cheese was equally amazing. The only downside to this place was the wine bar next door that started to become very loud at the end of our dining experience. It's not too bad if you are in good company. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Thanks to this lovely economy (j/k) there is a 2 for 1 special for February 2009. Just print out the voucher under special offers on their website and present it to them BEFORE you start your dining experience.
