Went in to purchase a saddle. Asked to do payments. Clerk didn't seem sure of herself but was fine with the transaction. I gave all my informtation including a drivers license. I put the $100 down that day plus payed for some extra items by check. I got a call from owner a few days later (didn't listen to msg. but called back thinking it was the end of trial and wanted to make sure I liked it) Well some snotty guy answers and starts to BS me about how thats not how they do business and the lady was fired and that he's was part of the FBI and is waiting for his new location or some other non sence and how thats not a legal transaction (first off it was a legal transaction, people do payment plans on saddles and secondly why would the federal beurea of investigations give a whoot about a $250 saddle sale?) So I gave my debit info and the payment was made. Thought everything was done with because when I listened to the msg. Rhonda threatened to call the police on me! So anywho I got a call from the sales clerk that sold me the saddle about 3 weeks later. She asked if I had come square with Gap tack I said yes. She told me that the owner told her that I had made the debt payment, but the check bounced and that on top of being fired she would need to pay the difference! Well I told her that that check when through without any issues and the debit transaction. Gap Tack is not a good place to work or shop. I will never buy from them again! And I was a good loyal customer before I left for college and AUS and wanted to be a good customer when I came back. Pass along I'm done with them!
