Review content:
after helping friends move a week before my own move from long beach to oakland, i realized there was no way in hell i was moving my sh*t myself. i went with starving students because i always wondered if the company in fact employed students that were starving. to my disappointment, it was actually two dudes that were far from malnourished. starving students ******up in some ways, but all were to my benefit. they told me they'd arrive at 10 a.m. and they arrived at 9; something that annoyed me at first because i was really, really hung over, but after it took them an hour and a half to load up my things (because i told them i had less boxes than i really did. my bad!), i realized they actually did me a favor. secondly, they told me they had a 3-5 day window to deliver my things. because of this, i had them pick up my things earlier than the day i was moving because i wanted everything to arrive the same day i did (a co-worker shared a moving horror story days before about the theft of all her underwear. so naturally, i wanted to supervise my undergarments on move in day). they ended up moving my things the next day. i took inventory of my sh*t before they moved it in case of shadiness, so this didn't really bother me.
