Review content:
I have personally been a patient at the Center For Health Internal Medicine since 2007. Creepy is totally absurd for describing Dr. Ali. Each visit, yes, I am greeted by Dr. Ali 'armed' with a lap top. But Janet09 fails to understand that it will soon be mandatory(believe 2012) that all medical records will need to be electronic (thank the government) so I would want an office that is advanced. The pictures of the staff add a nice touch. I think you fail to recognize that the office is trying to establish a non-sterile feel. You do not see people walking around in scrubs, it feels like you are being welcomed into their family.\r
\r
Janet09 is pointing out mere tangibles which yes are important, this office is calming and aethetically pleasing. The GQ and automobile magazine may be the only magazines that JANET09 was interested in but when I have been in the waiting room (the longest 10 minutes) I have seen knowledgable books about diabetes and a newsletter about the staff.\r

The most important thing we are forgetting about is Dr. Ali's knowledge of medicine. Really when you see a surgeon do you want someone who is ""touchy feely"" but does not have an excellent surgical record but he has a good bedside manner? Remember that doesn't save your life! I work in the healthcare industry and he is above standards in his knowledge and diagnosis. I like that he has a computer in front of him. He can look up something if he does not know it right then and there, I assume he has internet capabilities. Also his staff has been there for a long time which says a lot about him and the way the office is mananged. Just ask his staff, most will say they have been there since he started the office. I do not think you would find another physician as great as Dr Ali as well as his nurse pracitioner Velvet who is just as excellent as him. Sorry that Janet09 was not happy but you will NOT be disappointed if you see Dr. Ali or Velvet. They are EXCELLENT!!!!
Pros: excellent caring staff
Cons: parking
