Dear Kane Cardiology,\r
I was a patient of yours in 2008. I was looking for a new cardiologist for my pacemaker and found a Dr. Williams. I was very comfortable and enjoyed coming in. I had called in about six weeks before my pacemaker went on reserve to get it replaced and the receptionist set a date an told me they would call me the week before the surgery to let me know when and where it was going to be. A week before, I had no phone call so I took it upon myself to call and found out that apparently I had not been scheduled. I asked them to schedule me as soon as possible and the receptionist said I could not because people schedule six weeks in advance, which I had done. As you could imagine, I was extremely upset. I had talked to my mother who worked at St. Josephs at the time and she said she had done a pacemaker surgery with a certain doctor and I should go see him. I had called up the reception desk and told them I was not coming back and the reason why. The reason being, someone had told me I had a surgery date and did not follow through, than later learning, that my pacemaker had gone on reserve the day before I was originally suppose to have surgery through Kane Cardiology.\r
Recently, I was involved in a car accident and, at this moment, I need to get my pacemaker cleared for surgery since I had shattered my finger. I have not talked to my cardiologist or seen him since I had my pacemaker replaced and updated. He does not work for St. Josephs anymore so they have not been keeping up with my health. Anothe disappointment! It has been two years. I called up Kane Cardiology to see if I could give you a second chance. When I get the call back I hear, “We can not see you because you said you no longer needed our services.” \r
I just wanted to let you know I think you are a horrible cardiology department and I will never speak highly of you. I am 23 years old, I shouldn’t even be dealing with all this! I am so horrified with how horribly I have been treated by your team. I came to you in desperate measures and you had turned your back. I hope all of you are happy with yourselves! A doctor is supposed to help the unhealthy not turn their back as you have done. It makes me sick! \r
Thank you...for nothing!!!\r
