Review content:
I have been shopping at my local music store (Edwards Music) for many years and have purchased almost all of my gear from them. I did wonder into a music store in Raleigh NC and made an impulse buy on a Taylor acoustic guitar. Shortly after the purchase I started having issues with the electronics and I thought, what do I do now about service? Well I went to Edwards expecting to get the cold shoulder for not buying local and to my surprise the crew at Edwards bent over backwards to take care of me. They put me in touch with the guitar tech (Steve) over at the repair shop and he stopped what he was doing and started checking out my guitar. I was in a bind because I had a show that night and really wanted to play this guitar. Steve checked out the guitar and could not find a problem so he asked me about the way I hooked up my PA system. After listening to Steve tell me about all of the things that could be wrong I was lost and nervous about my upcoming gig. Steve saw my despair and offered to come by the restaurant where I was going to be playing and make sure I had my gear hooked up correctly. I didn't even buy the guitar from them! Steve came out that night and found a bad cable and my guitar never sounded better. He wouldn't take any money and told me I could call him any time I had a problem. You can't find that kind of service anywhere anymore and thats why I'm a dedicated Edwards Music customer.
